CAPABILITIES: Hawker Pacific Component Services, located at Coopers Plains Brisbane, incorporates a specialist precision ma- chining shop supporting a network of internal company facilities and external customers. The fabrication of tooling, ground support equipment and specialist repair scheme components, in association with Hawker Pacific’s Design Engineering Department, are some of the specialist product offerings available. These capabilities utilise various technologies including non-exotic and exotic metal welding, conventional and high-quality 4 Axis CNC machining, composite ma- terial/carbon fibre fabrication, NDT, plastic media blasting, hardness testing and surface finishing. Complementing this, Hawker Pacific holds both AS9100D and a CASA One-Off Production Certificate to manufacture and release aircraft parts.
