Elizabeth McIntyre new CEO at OMA
Industry newcomer Elizabeth McIntyre will be the new CEO of the Outdoor Media Association, succeeding long- time incumbent Charmain Moldrich, who will step down after 13 years in the role.
McIntyre has spent the past 12 years as Group CEO for Think Brick Australia, Concrete Masonry Association of Australia, and the Australian Roofing Tile Association, collectively. As an industry leader, she has delivered
a decade of growth to the three boards who support the $900m industry.
Outdoor media is today worth $1bn a year in Australia, split 65/35 between digital and print. It has bounced back strongly from its Covid-induced crash. Print’s share has been on a steady decline for the past six years as digital has risen, but at $350m and rising it is still a major sector of print.
McIntyre said, “It is an exciting time to be leading the outdoor industry. I was drawn to the role for the opportunity to work in a creative and complex environment, coupled with the opportunity to advocate on behalf of members. I look forward to working to lead the industry to future growth.”

Richard Eastaugh steps up at Marvel
Marvel Bookbinding & Printfinishing has promoted Richard Eastaugh to the role of general manager, the move putting him in charge of running the country’s biggest trade binding and finishing house.
Richard Eastaugh is
the son of the company founder Wayne Eastaugh, who will now step into a mentoring role for Richard as he takes the reins.
Richard has a degree in economics and business management, followed by 15 years at Marvel, both on the production floor and in office management experience.
Wayne Eastaugh said, “Richard is well-equipped and
highly experienced to now move into the general manager role. He will also be instrumental in leading our organisation to new heights.”
Richard’s new role will see him responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, working closely with Wayne and with the Marvel team, to drive growth and, he says, consistently achieve Marvel’s goals. He
will also play a critical role in shaping the future strategic direction of the organisation, with Wayne saying the move will ensure that Marvel continues to provide high- quality products and services to its customers’ current and future needs.
Wayne said, “I am very confident that Richard’s expertise and leadership skills will support Marvel as the business continues to thrive and grow in today’s competitive marketplace. I look forward
to the contributions and fresh ideas he will bring to his new role, and I am hugely proud to support Richard’s promotion. I started Marvel in 1986 and this announcement will secure Marvel’s long term future for both staff and customers alike.
Marvel services print businesses from every state in Australia, including West Australia, with an impressive fleet of finishing and binding solutions, allied with long term staff.
