 MARION BYRNE OF DEFENCE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY GROUP
Marion Byrne is a Data-Fusion scientist at Australia’s DST Group. She holds degrees in aerospace engineering, physics, and signal processing from the University of Adelaide.
Marion is the fusion science team lead for Australia’s acquisition of the F-35 JSF. Marion leads and managers the delivery of a research program to identify and address the future data and information needs of the programme – including designing experiments and targeting academic research.

 ELIZABETH WRIGHT OF MURRAY CONSULTING SOLUTIONS
Elizabeth is an exceptional senior Commercial and Contracting External Service Provider (ESP) known for her ability to transform aspirational strategies into practical capability. She inspires teams to act with increased commercial acumen. In 2019 she supported Surveillance and Control System Program Office (S&CSPO) establishing a series of transformative commercial arrangements, spanning three separate System Program Offices and two Divisions, within an unprecedented short duration to enable key Defence capability outcomes.
LIESL O’MEARA OF NORTHROP GRUMMAN AUSTRALIA
Liesl has been a dedicated and passionate member of the Defence community for over a decade having worked in a number of senior commercial and legal roles in both the Department of Defence and currently at Northrop Grumman Australia. She has extensive experience and a deep understanding of Defence procurement having worked on many of Defence’s most strategically significant and challenging programs over the last 10 years, including the Future Submarine Program, Future Frigates, Collins and OneSky. She is widely respected for her ability to deliver creative and timely solutions with unwavering integrity and a remarkable balance of diplomacy, candour and common sense.
  CLARE LITTLE OF QINETIQ
Clare Little is a passionate and influential leader. Through outstanding leadership of the Australia commercial function, Clare has made a significant impact in supporting QinetiQ to achieve business maturity and record growth.
Clare has outstanding capacity, tenacity and dedication. As a true ambassador for Defence industry, Clare is commended for her willingness to invest personal time and effort in developing future commercial capability within the Australian Defence environment.
 ANUSH AVAKIAN OF CAPABILITY ACQUISITION AND SUSTAINMENT GROUP
Anush is the Acting Assistant Secretary, Non-Materiel Procurement Branch, within CASG. With over 15 years’ government and industry procurement experience, Anush’s primary responsibility is providing commercial leadership on projects ranging from $200,000 to multi-billion dollar arrangements. More broadly, Anush is an official on the Government Procurement Special Interest Group and is a regular speaker at public forums on government procurement initiatives.
 ALICIA IRVING OF MARCH ON LEGAL/ AUSTRALIAN ARMY RESERVIST
Alicia Irving serves in the Australian Army Legal Corps as a Reserve Legal Officer, enhancing legal capability through the provision of expert legal advice to ADF members and Command. In addition, she is the Principal Solicitor of March On Legal, a law firm which specialises in providing legal services to ADF members and veterans. Alicia established March On Legal, a law firm designed to assist ADF members and Veterans with non-service related issues such as family law and domestic violence.
