                From savoury to sweet
Having built a market following for its savoury crackers,
Olina’s Bakehouse has turned its attention to something sweet.
OLINA’S Bakehouse is well known for its extensive range of premium savoury crackers, having been a market disruptor when it launched in 2015. Now it
is hustling in on the sweet end of the biscuit aisle with its Artisan Cookie range.
In March 2021, the brand was acquired by Mondelez International, when the global food business bought its parent company Gourmet Food Holdings for more
than $400 million. Other brands in the stable include OB Finest and Crispbic.
Since its acquisition, the brand has expanded its range
to include a biscuit snack range, Seeded Snackers, and three types of crispbread.
Olina’s Artisan Cookies are the first new brand, with five flavours on offer: Chocolate Chip, Butter Crunch, Triple Chocolate, Dark Choc Coffee, and Chocolate Orange.
Gourmet Foods marketing manager Jessie Rosengarten says the company is
excited to be entering the sweet biscuit segment.
“As leaders in baking and innovation, we constantly seek to develop unique, high-quality and delicious products for our consumers to enjoy,” Rosengarten says. ✷
