excellence, innovation, leadership and best practice. Run by the APPMA, the awards programme provides an opportunity for the packaging and
processing industry to celebrate industry wins and achievements, foster innovation and collaboration, and raise the profile of this industry sector.
The awards have broadened for 2022, seeking out and recognising industry innovation, and celebrating success across the wide spectrum of the processing and packaging industry.
“It was exciting to bring back these awards at the 2019 AUSPACK,” says Mark Dingley, APPMA chairman. “The APPMA is even more excited to announce what we have in store for 2022 with the awards program broadened and focusing on ‘recognition, celebration, inclusivity and education’ within the processing and packaging industry.”
The APPMA believe the new awards programme provides the opportunity to celebrate the packaging and processing industry in its entirety, with the APPMA providing a platform for its members as well as broader industry participation and engagement, from small to large businesses, in both the processing and packaging sectors.
Both the new machinery manufacturing and imported machinery awards have a category for SMEs (companies with up to $10 million annual turnover) and corporates (over $10 million), to encourage inclusivity.
Award categories in 2022 are:
• Australian Machinery Manufacturing Award:
Recognising Australian-based manufacturing, innovation and success of a product launched into the domestic and/or export market in the past three years.
