VENTIA WINS USER FACILITY MANAGEMENT CONTRACT
VENTIA Australia will take on the role of Operator and Facilities Manager for the Common User Facility (CUF) at the Aus- tralian Marine Complex (AMC) in Hen- derson, Western Australia.
The contract has an initial term of five years plus up to two extensions of five years each. Operations for the contract will commence in July.
At the heart of the Australian Marine Complex, the CUF is key to the growth of naval work, to providing ongoing support for the defence and resource sector along with other major projects.
The contract includes 24-hour day to day operation and management of the AMC-CUF, including business develop- ment and marketing services, asset man- agement services, facility management services and operator services.
The AMC-CUF is a multi-industry, multi-user industrial facility serviced by a deep-water port, a floating dock and trans- fer system, specialised load out wharves, extensive laydown and assembly areas and several large fabrication halls.
“Ventia is pleased to be able to help generate local business and employment

“Our contract team will be led by Warren Farrow, General Manager Critical Infrastructure who has over 20 years’ ex- perience within the Australian maritime infrastructure and strategic asset manage- ment space. He is supported by the wider Ventia business, bringing extensive con- nections within the defence, maritime and resource sectors.
“Ventia is looking forward to delivering best practice in operations and manage- ment through our systems, and by leverag- ing our in-house WA-based marine asset management capability.”
