  Next generation heating efficiency
AIRATHERN HAS INTRODUCED Unimax to the Australian market.
The Unimax high efficiency stainless steel con- densing boilers are in high demand worldwide.
Dubbed one of the world’s most efficient con- densing boilers Unimax has condensing efficien- cies up to 109 per cent..
Unimax can be used for new and replace- ment applications. The high tech 316L stain- less steel heat exchanger is the heart of the Un- imax boiler which is manufactured in Europe
by Sermeta, the largest condensing boiler heat exchanger manufacturers in the world.
The compact, high capacity Unimax condens- ing boilers are a natural design progression of the most popular, well proven, small stainless steel commercial condensing boiler brands sold suc- cessfully for more than 20 years in Australia and around the world.
With models from 210kW to 1540kW output, the Unimax boiler is approved for installation Australia wide and is the ideal condensing boiler

for new and replacement commercial and indus- trial applications.
The high tech features of Unimax condensing boilers significantly reduce the environmental impact of gas boilers with one of the highest ef- ficiency ratings of up to 109 per cent and super low nox premix burners.
With inbuilt high tech Seimens control sys- tems, Unimax boilers can modulate outputs at 8-1 turndown and modulation range can be ex- panded much further with the ability to cascade control up to 16 boilers through the entire modu- lation load range.
Along with the modbus BMS interface, Uni- max operating temperatures can be remotely adjusted by the 0-10 volt temperature set point adjustment to give optimum system integration with the BMS control system.
Unimax boilers are locally stocked and are available in both indoor and outdoor applica- tions with purpose built industrial quality UV resistant oudoor cabinets protecting against the harshest of Australian conditions.
Airatherm can assist and are well established in the Australian market with more than 50 years experience as a heating equipment manu- facturer and importer.

Radiant, draught free heat with Atherma
DAIKIN AUSTRALIA HAS launched its new R32 Altherma Mono-Bloc system.
Daikin’s Altherma range of hydronic heating and cooling systems is one of the most energy ef- ficient ways of achieving even, radiant and draught-free heat.
The new R32 Altherma Mono-Bloc system is the next evolution in the range.
“UP TO 80 PER CENT OF THE HEAT PRODUCED IS FROM OUTSIDE AIR.”
It uses R32 refrigerant, which has a 66 per cent lower GWP than 410A (used in previous models), meaning less risk of harm to the environment.
The new outdoor condenser unit features a modern silver/grey finish. It is 35 per cent shorter and seven per cent lower in volume than previ- ous models.
It has a new stylish wired controller with black finish and 4.3” colour LCD display which is includ-
ed with all models and offers the ability to control the individual water temperature of up to two zones or emitters.
The new Mono-Bloc design requires no indoor hydrobox and a wiring centre is no longer re- quired when connecting to a domestic hot water system. This results in simpler, faster installa- tion and substantial space savings.
There are significant energy performance im- provements. Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) has increased by up to 36 per cent while Coefficient of Performance (COP) has increased by up to 13 per cent.
Available in heating only or reverse cycle op- tions and Class 9, 11, 14 and 16 capacities, Alther- ma efficiently creates the optimal indoor tem- perature by utilising ambient air.
Between 66-80 per cent of the heat energy pro- duced by Altherma comes from the outside air and is free of charge. The compact outdoor unit extracts heat energy from the ambient outdoor air, raises this heat to a higher temperature and then distributes the warmth throughout the home via common heat emitters such as under- floor heating circuits, fan coil units and radiators.
This highly efficient process uses the new R32 based refrigeration cycle which requires only
1 kilowatt of electrical energy to release in excess of 4 kilowatts of heat into the home.
To cool the home, the reverse cycle option ex- tracts heat from inside the home and releases it outside. An optional domestic hot water tank can be integrated into the system to satisfy the home’s hot water needs making Daikin R32 Al- therma Mono-Bloc a total home heating solution.
