OPTIMISED FOR R-290
Tecumseh is introducing a Series “AL” compressor platform with high efficiency optimised for R-290 refrigerants.
The company is also expanding several existing platforms with new models that are specifically optimized for A2L refrigerants.
The new Series AL Compressor platform is up to 15 per cent better in performance and energy efficiency packed in a very compact body. In a quiet and small housing that is estimated to be roughly five per cent shorter in height compared to competitive products,
Series AL models provide up to 20cc displacements and are designed specifically for L/MBP applications in light commercial refrigeration. The expanded L/MBP operating range allows standardized use across display cases, reach-in coolers and ice machines applications.

Series AL, optimized for R-290 (propane) refrigerants, has capacities ranging from
1,240 to 1,800 Btu/h (0.36kW to 0.52kW) at LBP and from 3,730 to 4,990 Btu/h (1 to 1.5kW) at MBP both in EN12900 conditions.

Smooth operator with big capacity
THE COMPAC IS a range of fully fitted pack- aged units featuring world leading Tecumseh Scroll compressors and sold exclusively through Actrol.
The Scroll compressor allows for an ultra- smooth and efficient operation due to the true rotary motion which enables dynamic balancing.
Designed with space constraints in mind, the horizontal discharge condenser configuration suits unit placement in carparks, roofs, on the side of buildings and mounted above one anoth- er without restricting airflow.
COMPAC is known as the smooth operator. Do not be mistaken by the small footprint, these units offer big performance capabilities due to their large condensers and reliable compressors.
The series has been designed with extended
copper tails to enable easier joining with press fittings by >B< MaxiPro.
The unit has a comprehensive suite of techni- cal information and product specifications on- line making selection a breeze.
Installation is simple as every COMPAC is op- tioned straight out of the box. The COMPAC Scroll takes ease of installation to a new level.
Gone are the days of lost paperwork, as every unit includes a QR code inside the casing which can be scanned to take the installer to a digital installation and wiring guide.

New 8-cylinder compressor is here
BITZER’s new 8-cylinder CO2 compressor CKHE7.
MARKET TRENDS SHOW an increasing demand for industrial refrig- eration plants with higher refrigeration capacities and the capability to use CO2 as refrigerant.
Until now, projects with required cooling capacities of more than 5 MW had to be divided into several individual systems.
To meet the trend for bigger capacities, BITZER developed its new 8-cylinder CO2 compressor CKHE7 with displacement rates between 69.4 and 99.2 m3/h.
It is equipped with various intelligent functions and a further-devel- oped version of the mechanical capacity control VARISTEP. The market introduction of CKHE7 will start in the course of 2021.
BITZER is expanding its CKHE compressor series widely with this series being the further development of the proven BITZER ECOLINE design. Also the 4-cylinder compressors for transcriti- cal CO2 applications
BITZER said CKHE3 will be available in three models ranging from 4.2 to 9.6 m3/h at 50 Hz, CKHE4 in six models from 9.3 to 26 m3/h at 50 Hz. ✺
