58 People in Print
News from the movers and shakers across
the ever evolving, and always dynamic, ANZ print industries; who has bought whom, who has installed what, who has won what, and who is taking charge of whom – the faces making waves are in this month's issue of Print21.
Throughout this year of all years Print21 is proud to have been the local media providing the Australian and New Zealand print industries with real news and informed features, as we all dealt with the fall-out from the coronavirus.
It has been our pleasure to produce and deliver news bulletins, video bulletins, and the industry’s premier magazine to you throughout the year, and from your feedback we know our efforts are appreciated by printing businesses of all types and sizes.
In the the fast‐moving world in which we all now live, clear, informed reporting, insightful commentary, and analysis has never been more important, and this year has certainly shown that. Print21, through its commitment to quality journalism, has been able to deliver, day by day, week by week, month by month, all year long.
This final Print21 issue of the year has a focus on label printing, which in years gone by was light years from the commercial
world, but thanks to digitisation is now within the realm of every commercial printer. We also take an in-depth look at the paper market, a feature profile on one of the country’s leading print businesses, bring you the latest from the wide format world, and insight from our usual expert contributors. And to round out the issue, the 2020 Year in Review feature gives a colourful snapshot of what this year has held for our industry.
All that remains is for me – on behalf of the whole team here at Print21 – to wish you a Happy Christmas, and dare we say it, a normal, post-pandemic New Year.
