Oil Only absorbents are always white in colour and are designed for the selective recovery of oils and oil based fluids including fuels, lubricants (mineral and vegetable) and other hydrocarbon based fluids. They are ideal for use where
the preferential recovery of oil from
land or water is required. Using unique hydrophobic technology, they will remain buoyant even when fully saturated with oil. Available formats include, socks, pads, pillows and rolls as well as marine booms. These are designed to be deployed
on water and can be joined to form a continuous containment barrier against the spread of immiscible liquids on water.
