A few weeks prior to your move, start packing several boxes a day. Begin with items that are least essential to your daily life
Pack an overnight bag containing all the essentials
Pack the items you will need FIRST in a clear plastic bin
Pack plates vertically, like records. They’ll be less likely to break
Use your towels, bed linen, and even clothing to pack fragile items
Avoid mixing items from different rooms in the same box
Use color coded tape to keep things organized
Put electrical cords in empty toilet paper rolls with labels letting you know which device they belong with
