GET PRE-APPROVED
It’s best to choose a local lender and get a pre-approval letter before you begin house hunting to show sellers you’re serious.
TRUST AN EXPERT. FIND A REALTOR®
A REALTOR® is a real estate agent or a liated real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®.
SUBMIT OR RESUBMIT
YOUR APPLICATION
Most mortgage pre-approvals are good for 60 to 90 days. If your search extends beyond that, resubmit your application.

AN OFFER
Know in advance the most you’re willing to pay and set the tone for the entire negotiation.
ENTER MUTUAL ACCEPTANCE
CLOSE THE DEAL. Buyers should deposit earnest money, review the seller disclosure forms, and schedule a home inspection.

Protect yourself from loss or damage. Your policy will cover the property itself and against any liablity.
