FLOYD SARISOHN and BERNARD “BUDD” SARISOHN founded our firm in 1957 when they opened their doors for business in a small two-room office on Jericho Turnpike in Commack. Floyd and Budd were at the forefront of a wave of new, young homeowners who helped convert Commack and the surrounding area from a sleepy agricultural community, to the busy and desirable suburban destination that it has now become.
The Sarisohn brothers firmly planted their roots in the Commack community and helped many families move into the neighborhood and establish new businesses. They became known by all who met them for their compassion, accessibility and commitment to their clients.
In 1984 STEVEN SARISOHN, a second generation member of the family, joined the firm to continue the traditions established by his father and uncle of giving clients practical and effective legal advice and representation.
