                                    Our story since 1925
A love for good things, respect for tradition, passion for quality and attention to new food trends have always been part of the Veroni family’s values. At Veroni the creation of cold cuts is in fact an art handed down from generation to generation, constantly enriched with innovation and technology, so as to bring a world of genuine goodness to the table. The company’s roots go back to 1925, when the five Veroni brothers, who ran a grocery store, decided to produce their own cold cuts. Since then, family management continues to the present day, preserving the values of tradition, craftsmanship and recipes of the past, but at the same time welcoming opportunities for growth and development in the market. And so, the Veroni cured meats factory is today a modern and technologically advanced company, combining “artisan know-how” with the safety and reliability of the industrial organisation, offering a wide range of quality cured meats.
Our facilities
Today, Veroni’s business is carried out in four subsidiaries and seven production plants, where the production of the different ranges of cold cuts is performed each in a specialised and diversified manner. At the historical site of Correggio where production was first started, we continue to produce mortadella and a range of pre-cooked, free service and take away sliced products. In Noceto (Parma), coppa and pancetta are produced; in Langhirano and Sala Baganza (Parma) Parma hams and all cured raw hams are made; in Gazzata di S. Martino in Rio (Reggio Emilia), various types of cooked and roasted hams are produced; in Castel Guelfo and Borgo Tossignano (Bologna) traditional salami and sausages are made. In March 2015, Veroni established a slicing plant in the USA, ensuring that the true Italian taste reaches overseas as well.
