-It’s mainly young men living in in in poor areas Why do young people carry knives?
Fear- they they worry they they will be attacked and think carrying a a knife will protect them Fashion and status – it makes them feel important hard and and powerful and and gives them the the respect of other young people and gang members Why do they stab people?
Some carry a a a knife but don’t think they are going to use it But in in the the heat of the the moment they they stab someone when they they did not intend to Some plan to stab people when they want revenge for something that has been done to them them or said about them them Some think they will look big and get respect from other young people especially gang members if they stab someone If they they are are drunk or high on drugs they they are are more likely to lash out 06 6 6 WELCOME TO
