You should know us by now. We are advocates of things that serve a dual purpose — we like designs that are both stylish and... stylish. It so happens that latch hooking is just our thing. It got its big break when rug hooking was discovered as a craft and with some tweaking and modifications, latch hooking emerged.
But it should not be confused with traditional rug making, which is a different technique altogether using different hooks and yarns — we still have to take on rug hooking but it is on
our bucket list for sure, so stay tuned! Latch hooking pieces are furry in nature as they are created using pre-cut pieces of yarn, but you can also cut the yarns yourself to play around a bit with the lengths to get the desired effect. This is what we did with this colorful wall piece and we’d like to think we did alright with that — we wandered completely off pattern, never to return!
