Whether you are going to the prom, you are a bride, bridesmaid, or mother-of-the-bride — planning your special day hairstyle is important for photographs that are timeless.

Choose your hairdresser well in advance. Let them get to know your likes, dislikes and personality. Your hairstyle reveals you.
Schedule your appointment 3-6 months in advance. Schedule hair color 1-2 weeks before the event and work backwards from the special day to today, scheduling all appointments
Do your homework. What looks do you love? What don’t you like? Ask your hairdresser for consultation time.

4. Schedule a practice run with your hairdresser. Expect to pay for this time, so plan to go out to the theatre or dinner that night.
