Examples of effective pain medication are:
• AsyourpainstartstakeIbuprofenformild pain - 2 x 200mgs – these can be taken every 4-6 hours (MAXIMUM 6 TABLETS IN 24 HOURS).
• 1x30mgCodeinePhosphatetabletevery 6 to 8 hours
• Useahotwaterbottle(manufacturer’sinstructions) as heat can also help alleviate the pain.
Please note:
• Aminimumof4hoursmustelapsebetween each dose of pain killers.
• Donotdriveoroperatemachinerywhen taking Codeine.
• DonotdriveafteradministeringMisoprostol until you believe you have passed the pregnancy and feel well enough to do so.
