 Behind The Name
Valor Defined: noun [Latin valor valeo, to be strong, to be worth.] Strength of mind in regard to danger; that quality which enables a man to encounter danger with firmness; personal bravery; courage; intrepidity; prowess.
The name Valor represents the true meaning of the word, strength and worth. Valor is the quality which enables us to encounter danger with firmness and exhibits personal bravery, courage, fearlessness and readiness.
 When we search the scriptures, we find strength comes from...
• Following the Lord: The joy of the Lord is our strength, Nehemiah 8:10
• Receiving as opposed to striving: That we are strengthen by Jesus, Philippians 4:13
• Patience: That our strength is renewed when we wait on the Lord, Isaiah 40:31
• Being in His presence: When we look to the Lord and seek His face, 1 Chronicles 16:11 • Abiding: Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might, Ephesians 6:10
• Weakness: His power is made perfect in our weakness, 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
