Connections with Same-Sex Attraction A deep dive into the data revealed several interesting connections: Girls are twice as likely to be same-sex attracted as boys (28% vs 13%). Teens who say they have had a poor family experience are more likely to report experiencing same-sex attraction than if they had a good family experience (30% vs 18%). Teens who identify with any kind of religion are less likely to be same-sex attracted as compared to teens who report they have no religion (18% vs 25%). Same-sex attraction also drops drastically among Muslims (13%) and Committed Christians (12%).
