COLE SEELY
HRC’s Cole Seely was putting a solid season together and actually besting his more experienced teammate Trey Canard at practically every round so far. He had put together 3 podiums and was sitting six in the points standings as the series headed back to California. Unfortunately, Seely fell victim to the test track at Milestone during the week leading up to Santa Clara and reportedly chipped a part of his vertebra. HRC put out a press release stating that they hope Seely will be able to return to riding 2 to 4 weeks after the incident. Generally, with the shape that these riders are in and their dedication to their training, they take less time to recover than a normal human would. Seely has been able to resume his bicycle training, but is yet to hop back on a dirt bike. Considering his heavy BMX background, getting back on anything with two wheels is probably a huge relief and will do wonders for his morale coming off of an injury.
