Jason’s morning started off great in St. Louis. He got out to the lead in both practices
like always and laid down some good laps. He would go into the daytime show feeling confident and ready to continue his podium streak. Jason got a decent start in 450 Heat 2 and set his focus on getting into the Main. He was able to make his way into 3rd place with only a few bike lengths between him and 2nd place, Brayton. He put on a last lap charge but it would not be enough to pass him. When the Main began, Jason was ready to demand a top 3 position. He didn’t get the best start but after a few corners, he found himself in 4th position and kept his focus on the podium. On lap 7, Jason was able to put on enough of
a charge to challenge for 3rd. As he began the pass, it started clean but turned ugly as he tangled with Brayton, who received the short end of the stick and hit the dirt.
