Heading into St Louis, Baggett knew what he had to do to move up a few positions in the overall standings. With a fastest lap of 55.7 at the start of the day, Blake quali- fied 13th. After riding in a tough group of riders in his heat, Baggett struggled to get an 8th place finish; sending him into the semi. Fighting for a 7th place in his semi after some contact with Barcia and Catanzaro, Blake was forced to the LCQ. Hey...
all the more track time, right? With a solid ride in his LCQ, Baggett saw himself lining up for the main event. After an exceptional jump out of the gate, Baggett had found himself trying to break into the top 10 all moto long, but it didn’t seem like 20 laps was enough for him. Moving up positions was a struggle for Baggett as he couldn’t find the right opportunities to pass which resulted in a 12th place finish. After St Louis, Baggett is now sitting in 17th place overall with two rounds left.
