Vince Friese had a pretty standard day in Oakland. In qualifying he came away with a 19th overall, but when 450 Heat 2 started, all eyes were on Friese, who got a
great start. He was able to hold on to 3rd place most of the Heat until fate brought Weston Peick up the inside of a berm, ultimately sending Vince to the Semi. He was able to finish 5th in the Semi to go on to the Main Event. Friese pulled off a 16th in the Main, matching his best of the season so far.
