#41 Trey Canard- It is undeniable that #41 has shown more
heart than most dirt bike riders in his professional career. It was a night full of mistakes. The weekend before Oakland at Anaheim 2 Canard had multiple crashes, one leaving him with a badly battered throttle hand that
was badly swollen and required stitches. Trey was determined to make it on the starting gate at round 4. He made the safe decision to sit out Oakland after putting himself through pain in qualifying. After finishing just outside of the top 5 in the first 2 rounds, Trey was hoping to bounce into a podium position and keep his title fight alive. Instead, he opted to spectate.
