Practice didn’t go to hot
for the veteran Mike Alessi, coming through qualifying in 18th place. In his heat
he did really well. From battling with Stewart for the lead to keeping his compo- sure even when he started to fade. He ended up 6th and had to go to the semi. In the semi, with another Alessi type start, he ended up 3rd and made it to main. In the main he got a bad start and ended up 13th to round out the night.
