JEFF ALESSI
Jeff Alessi has made his return to AMA supercross for the 2016 season
with the Moto Concepts Team. During his hiatus from professional competition, Jeff could be spotted riding and racing throughout the country. He even did some racing outside of the country in Central America. He was out there looking to have some fun riding his dirtbike and in the process he looked to pass on his skills to the younger riders of the sport by holding training camps. It is nice to see Jeff back at the races after his time off and he will look to build on his first main event of the season last week at Anaheim 2 with another one in Oakland.
Oakland was not kind to the Smart Top Moto Concepts rider Jeff Alessi. Jeff would DNF in his heat after a poor start and would be forced to the semi. He suffered another bad start in the semi and couldn’t work his way into the top 5 in order to qualify. So it was onto the LCQ for Jeff where he would suffer yet another bad start and couldn’t fight his way into a transfer spot. Overall, those uncharacteristically bad starts would derail Jeff’s chances of making his second straight main event. He will be looking to rebound next week in Glendale.
