#151 Dakota Tedder- After failing to
qualify for the main event race at round 1 and 2 of the Monster En-
ergy AMA Supercross series, Dakota and Monster Energy Team Tedder Kawasaki caught a break at round 3, making the main event in his rookie 450 season and finishing in 19th position. With a bad start in his heat race the #151 was well out of a qualifying position and it was looking certain that he was going to be headed to the semi’s. Dakota was having a hard time making any positions during tonight’s race, finishing 9th, exactly where he started off in his semi, leaving him to contend in the 450 lcq. At the end of lap 1 Tedder was in the top
5 looking for a transfer position. Due to some faster riders starting off behind the #151 it be- came obvious that it would be a tough challenge for him to make the main event. T.Hahn and Christophe Pourcel would push Tedder out of 5th and into 7th where he would finish and fail to qualify for the main event. Look for Team Tedder to rebound next weekend.
