2019 Yamaha NIKEN
The NIKEN uses paired 15-inch lightweight alloy wheels with specified 120/70R15 tires to suit the LMW system. Developed in congruence with the chassis, the tires resemble sportbike profiles and have been constructed for high levels of grip and wear resistance. The rear features a massive 190/55R17 that creates a stylish combination and unrelenting amounts of traction. The improved stopping power at the front is supported by four-piston radial caliper disc brakes on the outside of each wheel, matched by a large rear disc brake, bolstered by responsive ABS at front and rear.
The NIKEN will hit dealerships in the second half of 2018 and although the price range is still unclear, it’s certainly going to be one of the most ogled bikes on the showroom floor.
