#94 Ken Roczen- This is the type of night that Ken Roczen and the whole RCH Jimmy Johns Suzuki team needed, start- ing the night off qualifying first overall. Although Ken did get the holeshot in his heat race, he did make a small mistake that let Ryan Dungey make a pass for
the lead. At one point it looked as there was going to be a Ken Roczen, Eli Tomac battle for second position in the heat
race but Roczen was able to hold off the charge of Tomac and take 2nd .
What a hard charge Roczen made to get on the podium in the main event after crossing the finish line on lap 1 in 9th . It looked like it would be another average night for the #94. Charging through the pack with pure determination to make his way to the front Ken passed a lot
of big name riders to make his way up
to 4th place at the mid way mark of the main event. Eventually there was a battle for 2nd place between Chad Reed, Eli Tomac, and Ken roczen with two laps remaining. Roczen made a bobble in the whoops just before the last lap giving some breathing room for Tomac to focus on Reed. Tomac dumped his bike in the corner after the finish line at the beginning of the last lap giving Roczen 3rd place where he would finish. Ken made it clear on the podium that he is not happy with his finishes or his starts. He thinks with
a better start he would have atleast got past Speedy Reedy to finish 2nd instead of 3rd .
