Over the years Jake has had many ups and downs. Winning a 250sx title, along with a handful of 250 National wins, to some serious injuries that have set him back, its no doubt that he is looking for some good results. That being said, things seem to be rolling in the right direction for Jake Weimer. What an impressive ride we saw from Jake last weekend in San Diego. A top ten finish in this stacked 450 class is a serious accomplishment, but the way Jake did
it makes it that much more impressive. Jake didn’t just finish eighth; he came from well outside the top ten to do so. Passing many top tier riders and even putting the heat on Factory Honda’s Trey Canard late in the race. Did I mention he did this on a privateer bike? Being it’s such a deep field, many riders are left without a factory ride, and unfortunately Weimer was one of them. With a crazy silly season ahead of us at the end of this year, we may see the #12 under a factory tent once again.
