Missing over 6 months due to an injury, nobody was expecting Jake Weimer to set the world on fire this supercross season. Making main events seemed to be a realistic goal, but getting top ten finishes? I don’t think anybone saw this coming. Anaheim 2 was yet another impressive night from Jake Weimer. Absolutely nailing his starts and putting himself in great positions each race. Quali- fying directly out of the heat race, Jake earned himself a great gate pick for the Main Event. Jake would start the Main Event off
in 5th place and hold the position for almost 10 laps. Fighting off riders like Eli Tomac, Ken Roczen and Jason Anderson. After a hectic race, Weimer would settle in 10th place and cruise to the finish. Not only was this his second top ten of the season, but he is
currently sitting 9th overall in the 450 points standings.
