Anaheim two could only be described as a rough night for Zach Bell. The tight and narrow first turn was merciless, Bell would get swallowed up in the sea of elbows and handle- bars in the heat; forcing him to claw back his ground most of the race. Bell would pass Casey Brennan, but wouldn’t nab a direct transfer to the main, finishing eleventh overall.
In the LCQ, an incredible start would have Bell in second in the first lap behind Luke Clout. A nasty wreck in the first corner left most of the field out of commission for a moment, letting Clout and Bell distance themselves. Right as Bell began to reel Clout in, a quick mistake while trying to jump through the whoops lets Clout get away from Bell. In the final lap, another mistake suddenly drops Bell to sixth in the final lap just barely missing the main event.
