It had to be cool to share some words with those guys on the box as well...
So, yeah. I went up to Villopoto and just told him it was a dream to race him and he told me I was killin’ it and that he didn’t expect an amateur to come out on top, ‘cause he was also going into it to win of course. It was just more of like a friendly “good job, dude,” same with Hahn -- he has one of the best personalities ever. We literally talked for like five minutes on the podium and he was just an awesome guy himself. It was just awesome being up there with those guys, being able to talk to them, and shake their hands and everything.
What’re your plans for the 125 All-Star races for the remainder of the year?
We’re looking into Colorado and the other one we weren’t sure about is Washougal just because it’s a week before Loretta’s. I don’t know for sure about the east coast stuff, but it would be sweet to do them.
