Living in Oklahoma in present day age, there’s a certain standard you have to live up to, in order to truly stand- out. With legends such as Guy Cooper paving the way decades ago, it was truly the era of Trey Canard and company, who brought such an explosive categorization to the area. The aforementioned Canard, Bogle, Al- bertson, Nichols; the list can go on and on; so for one to “stand out” so to speak, positive results must be dis- played, and in particular, on the largest of scales. And what bigger, and better race to ride astoundingly, than the MotoPlayground Race at Ponca City? A race that’s been restored to bigger and better than ever before, offers a place where media coverage is like no other, along with a track and racing spectacle that’s unrivaled. All of this, coupled with a plethora of confidence that’s overcome Mark Wilson in recent memory, helped create a perfect storm for positive results on the weekend of October 18th, 2018. Coming off the line in sixth place to begin heat number two, there was some serious chaos looming around him. He showed maturity, by not diving straight into
