THE MOTOPLAYGROUND RACE
at Ponca City
of practice. Once the bike was set to perfect standard, they were given a green light to the head to the line for the first moto. He would start
the race off in solid fashion, where
a third place behind leaders Nate Thrasher and Jeremy Ryan had him in solid formality. He would follow the number ten of Ryan as close as he could, although they were going at an unbelievable pace. He found his groove in third, and would cross the line here; however, a matter
with Ryan earlier in the race had the young man listed in the disqualifi- cation tier, moving Amerine up to second on the scoreboard. Look- ing for a duplicate performance in the second round, Amerine found himself in the midst of battle from the get-go. Fluttering with a podium position in the beginning, the trio
of Walther, Amerine, and Leblanc were in a game of musical chairs so to speak, with all in constant rota- tion. Amerine would hold off that of Leblanc, but have his hands full with that of Brandon Walther. The two would truly act as gladiators, fight- ing until the final flag flew. Amerine, coming across with yet another consistent podium finish, would be astounded with the news of a sec- ond place overall. The team knew what he was capable of prior to the event, and Kaeden most certainly over delivered. Amerine’s third place in the second moto would finally tally him into runner-up overall. All of the hard-work, time, and effort the crew had put in was well rewarded with a stellar ride. This event is one that’s heavily viewed throughout
the industry, and Amerine would show that he can perform under the brightest of lights. Stoked with the finish, Kaeden was thankful for all in his circle, and ready for his assault on the next event he would attend.
