overall on the weekend. Coming near the podium, he was respectful as always, acknowledging how well his com- petition rode, and was one of the first to offer congratulations. It was something to be proud of, and a race to build off of as well. He knows what he can do, regardless of how the track plays out, or what the competition provides. He’s an intriguing individual, and many are curious to see just what the future holds for Mr. Pine, the Texas native.

Anytime the word “Open” is mentioned in a class title, you know it’s going to
be filled with heavy hitters. Whether it’s open skill, age, or bike size, it offers a wider platform and boundaries, in com- parison to the set standards of most divi- sions. The 51cc Open class was no dif- ferent, with not only the best of the elder group coming to play, but a few outliers in the younger class providing value as well. It was a full concoction of abso- lutely star-studded talent, and many in attendance were eager to see just who would come about as the winner of this race. It was Cole Blecha, a familiar face
