COLE SEELY
since coming out of Toronto and round 10 of the monster Energy supercross season with a 4th place finish, it has been all downhill for the #14 Team Honda HRc rider. Whether injuries or the pure power of our previous 450 class champions, the potential of the california native, cole seely, has been clouded year after year. Thus far, seely has shown flashes of brilliance while finishing
in the top 3 at three of the first six rounds, but hasn’t yet proved the forecasts made on his 450 class destiny to be accurate. With a practice crash and early lap mishap in detroit two weeks ago, seely battled back to finish 11th. Later that week, while practicing for the upcoming motocross series, seely chipped a c7 vertebrae forcing him to miss round 12 in santa clara last weekend. Not receiving any points toward the championship, he lost 6th in the standings to the recently renewed #22 of chad Reed and slid into 7th with a sizeable 37-point gap over Brayton in 8th.
