Are you more excited about the commuting or the potential for a weekend get- away. Where do you see motorcycles fitting into your lifestyle?
I always picture open road. Not necessarily going anywhere, but just finding nice roads to ride on with a nice landscape to see. That’s what I always pictured. I didn’t really picture bobbing and weaving between traffic although that’s probably what I’ll be do-
ing mostly, but open road country will probably be the best. Highway 1 goes all the way along the coastline from northern California to southern California -- that will definitely be my goal trip.
So it might be a little bit early to say considering that you just got your first bike, but what’s next for you? Are there any bikes that you have your eye on?
I’ve always wanted some sort of vintage bomber. I’m not really sure which kind exactly, but definitely one that I could customize a little bit with a nice brown leather seat and a nice matte black, clean look.
The lifestyle of motorcycling is something that you’re getting into. Do you have much experience with going to races and that whole scene?
I’m more interested in the lifestyle side of things. I’ve never been into motocross or any- thing like that although I have a few friends that actually race. I’ll probably check it out, but it doesn’t really appeal as much as to me as the lifestyle portion of just getting on that open road and experiencing it firsthand myself.
