450 B LIMITED – EZRA HASTINGS
Being overshadowed can allow the spotlight to gleam that much brighter when it finally comes to view. For many years, Ezra Hasting’s felt as though he was just on the cusp of the curtain call, as his fellow competitors had claimed the pages of magazines and articles, the one’s in which he had read cover to cover. It wasn’t jealousy or envy in which he possessed, but deep down, he knew he could outrun and compete with anyone put in front of him. And if there were any specific place to complete the task, Loretta Lynn’s was the platform to do so. With Zane Merrett holeshotting and leading the way early, Hastings found himself in third to begin the festivities of the opening moto of the week. Jaxon Had- low was second, and Justin Rodbell was trailing, a tight knit trio of blue speedster’s. Merrett continued to pull, but Hastings and Rodbell were linked at the hip, both moving around Hadlow in the early going.
