As the gate dropped on the main event, Anderson turned up the heat on his Rockstar
Energy Husqvarna placing him around sixth right away. Not having the pressure of having to move up from the back of the pack the #21 maneuvers up to fifth then not long after passes Bogle before the tunnel placing him in fourth. He keeps the gap tight between him and Seely, but pulls away from Tomac. With five laps to go he be- gins to reel in Seely little by little eventually gaining the pass on him. Charging as hard as he can all the way through the end of the race, Jason Anderson once again found himself on the podium finishing third.
