Kyle started his day back in his home state great, by finishing 10th in qualify- ing. 250 Heat 1 began and Kyle was part of the action battling for positions. He
was able to go straight to the Main with a well earned 5th. The Main Event began and it looked as though the pressure of performing in front of his hometown crowd got the better of him. He got off to a very poor start and things didn’t get much better. Kyle had to settle for 16th place in Texas.
