JAMES STEWART
In this day and age we are beginning to be more educated on the seriousness
of concussions and head injuries. This season James Stewart has learned first hand how serious they can be. After suffering a concussion in the opening round of the series, he has still been feeling the effects. He tried to comeback in Oakland but it was obvious that
he was not himself and he eventually pulled off due to blurred vision. He and the fans were frustrated but he knows
he did the right thing by pulling off. All concussions are different and vary in recovering time and as a rider with a history of concussions, Stewart realized he needed to wait until he was completely 100% before returning to the track. It
has definitely been a frustrating season for him and his fans because this was supposed to be his comeback season after his suspension last year but it is a matter of his life long longevity not his racing career. We hope that Stewart has a full recovery before returning so we can see him at his full potential. And we all know that a James Stewart at 100% is a joy to watch. Earlier this week Stewart was cleared by concussion specialists and told that he can get back on the bike. That can only mean that he is very close to a return and we cannot wait to see him back at the races.
