The C class division’s are a place where those, who aren’t necessarily accustomed to the national scale, can display their tal- ent in a controlled division. Eager to grab
a glimpse of the spotlight, many of these competitors haven’t been exposed to the limelight, and can truly be tested when eyes are upon them. However, there are those who are wise beyond their years, display- ing a sense of maturity both on and off the track, and can bring all of their capabilities to the classes in which they will eventually conquer. The moment the gate dropped
in the first heat, riders such as Stockton Stinebaugh and Quinn Amyotte asserted themselves with feverish intent. After a Noah Borgman holeshot, Stinebaugh began to claw with his razor-sharp aggression. Picking off the field one by one, he had worked his way into second, after a Amyotte took over the lead early. Neck and neck for the last lap, Stinebaugh decides to flip the switch into overdrive, launching every single he could. It worked, as he threw down the quickest time on the last lap, moving on to take the win. Heat two could be considered the “Bates” show, as Devon bates soared to an early lead. Both bike and pilot meshing on all cylinders, the way he attacked each corner looked as though he’d ridden the track a million times. Never once dabbing the foot, or looking to see who was behind, he would claim victory, over both Kade Jack- son, and Kole Medwid. It was now time to bring them all together, and it was as though Stinebaugh never missed a beat from his summer dominance at the ranch. The crowd wasn’t sure what was more impressive,
the fact that he led every lap, or that he never wavered from the 1:11 mark, on any go around! What exquisite marksmanship! Each circuit, was literally just a mimic to the one prior. No bobbles, dabbing of the foot, or excessive stabbing of the clutch. Heck, it was though his mechanic had no business being there, as he never bothered to look
at the pitboard. He was THAT focused. And it would reap dividends, and although Kole Medwid would have an ultra-stout showing in second, a subtle glance over the shoulder to cross the finish line was all Stinebaugh needed, to know he’d done it again. This, was another title to come home, and place on the mantle.
