SuperMini 2 (13-16)
KILPATRICK
JETT REYNOLDS
The Supermini; one of the fastest ma- chines in all motorsports, in regards to power-weight ratio. The raw power of these motorcycles, in comparison to the larger machines, is eerily similar, yet they are as nimble and light as they come. So, with the right pilot, (any of these contender’s at this particular event), you are sure to be in for a treat, if you are watching from the stands. These guys were doing combinations, that were rivaled only by the top professional’s at the event. But with a name like Jett Reynold’s in attendance, you are forced to elevate your came; otherwise you are most certainly competing for the likes of second, and even further back. The first heat saw Reynold’s take an early lead ringing the Kawasaki for all it’s worth. A casual flick and tearoff over the biggest of jumps, reas- sured both mechanic and team that he was in control. Setting the fastest laptime on lap four, it was Leblanc, Thrasher and Ryan who would trail at the stripe. Heat number two, saw Kaeden Amerine work diligently for the victory, as he was a mere third on lap one. With Christopher Blackmer, and Larry Reyes Jr ahead, he had to time and calculate his passes perfectly, in order
to succeed. He would do so, moving into the lead by lap four, with Jack Chambers seemingly coming out of nowhere to
follow. The final tally, would list Amerine, Chambers, Blackmer, and Reyes, in that order. The run-off was now here, and
Jett Reynolds quickly made his presence known to the entire field. They all could read the number 79 logo on the back of his jersey, his name fluttering in the wind. What little dust there was, was all anyone could muster from the pure blitz his Kawasaki put onto the track. Bakersfield, California was
a long ways away, but he felt very at home in the lead, setting the fastest laptime in the process. Nate Thrasher, working his way into second, gave Reynolds a little bit of a push, but nothing to rattle Jett in the least. Leblanc was riding well also in third, but the battle of the two aforementioned, just allowed Jett to creep away even more. Now Jett had done it again, coming across the stripe in first, pushing both mind and body to the limit. He was rewarded with the title, and as always, thanked everyone in his crew for supporting, and getting him to this point in his career.
