Star Racing Yamaha has joined the trend of securing amateur prospects at a young age, keying in on
specific attributes that previous champions have displayed, in hopes of landing competitors and grooming
them through a specific farm system per se. All mainstream sports conduct this process through their minor league, and summer league organizations, creating a conveyer belt process, molding the initial product into a highly touted masterpiece. Bobby Regan saw something in Mitchell Harrison, enough to sign him to a freshman deal, and hopes of creating a long-term relationship. Harrison has displayed instances of speed when being a recipient of a well-timed gatedrop, and carries the tools to impressive re- sults. Tearing up tracks such as Baja MX in Michigan throughout his amateur career, Harrison should be well in tune with the sands of MX 338. Let’s see if the stars align for the Wolverine this weekend.
