Martin Davalos didn’t get the most ideal start in moto one beginning around 15th place. He moves into 15th for a very brief moment right behind Hampshire, but then falls back to 17th. Knowing he is not at all where he wants to be or where he knows he can be, Davalos puts his head down and begins to work his way forward again. Over halfway through the moto he is back into 15th chasing down Anthony Rodriguez. Losing one spot before the finish he rounds out moto one in 16th place. The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna rider got a killer start in the second moto placing him right around 4th place. Jeremy Martin made his way around him off the get go putting him into 5th place. A few minutes in he randomly fell back to 10th place. Unsure if it was the crazy fast riders in the class or if it was a small mistake. Not letting himself fall back any further, Davalos maintained that 10th place position. After a few riders went down in the second half of the moto he was able to gain a couple more positions. Finishing off the second moto in 6th place, ten more places ahead of his moto one finish. Going 16-6 for the day Martin Davalos finishes the day with a respectable 10th overall.
