Chris Howell continued his streak
of qualifying for main events here at
Anaheim 2. His journey to continue that streak was quite a fight. He would not be able to make it out of the heat race as he would finish 13th. So it was onto the LCQ for Howell where he would have a wild race. Michael Lieb passed him for the final transfer spot but almost simultaneously Zach Bell would go down handing the final transfer spot right back to Howell.
After transferring out of the LCQ, Howell would go onto his third straight main event where he would finish 18th. He is gaining more experience in the main events each week, which should help propel him into better finishes throughout the season.
