Michael Leib has quietly been logging a really solid season. After a disappointing season opener in Anaheim failing to qualify for the main event, Leib has been putting in some good results. Finishing in the top 15 nearly every round and a season high
7th in Oakland, he has to be happy after the injury-riddled season he had last year. Leib gained some exposure last year after he couldn’t come to terms with a gear company and decided to start his own, Canvas MX. The gear works like a sprint cup car as he is basically selling advertisements spots on areas of the gear. It was a bold move by Leib as he tried to stick it to the gear brands in the sport. And he will be looking to stick it to the competition this weekend in Arlington by getting back in the top 10 before the West Coast series takes a well-deserved hiatus.
