Hayes charged hard to the
front after a mid-pack start and worked his way into second place by lap twelve. On the final lap, when it appeared that Faith had the checkers in his sights
a crash in the last turn took him out of the lead and gave Hayes the lead for the win.
With his 1-1 performance on the night Hayes now sits, third place in championship points stand- ing just four points from Chris Blose who is the current series points leader and only one point behind second place Gavin Faith. Action resumes next Friday and Saturday night from The PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania, January 22-23.
